Lieb Bells was 20 years old when he won a Bronze with the Palauan national team in the 2011 Pacific Games. He started in center field and hit 8th in their opener, going 0 for 3 against Josh Jones of the Northern Mariana Islands. His first hit was a bunt single off American Samoa's Sailiilemalo Laolagi. The next game, he had a two-run, inside-the-park home run against Fiji's Sanail Colainima. For the Games, he hit .111/.333/.278 with six walks and four runs in seven games, while handling 20 chances error-free. He tied Jim Reyes, Rico Castro and Ryan Martinez for the tournament lead in homers (1) and led in walks (one ahead of Christophe Jajha).
