Pemerika Mahuka pitched for the American Samoa national team in the 2011 Pacific Games. The teenager took the loss against Jacques Levy and New Caledonia. In the 5th/6th place game, he started at short, hitting third and went 2 for 5 with two runs and a RBI against Sanail Colainima of Fiji. In the bottom of the 8th inning, he relieved Ikaika Mahuka with a 7-7 tie. He walked Inoke Niubalavu, who stole second and advanced on a Joeli McGoon grounder. Tavo Sorovakatini singled in the run, handing Mahuka his second loss. He had hit .263/.263/.474 and fielded .846; his two RBI tied for the team lead. While he had a 0-2, 6.14 record, he was second on American Samoa in ERA (behind Daniel Va'a's 3.75, well ahead of #3 Ikaika Mahuka's 13.94. He was among the event's leaders in slugging (7th, between Melngis Uchel and Sorovakatini), doubles (4, tied for 4th), triples (one, tied for first) and losses (tied for first with Colainima, Kalson Dulei and Sébastien Lepouriel).
