Biographical Information

Keoni Lizama was a DH and outfielder for the Northern Mariana Islands national team in the 2011 Pacific Games. In their opener, he hit 8th and played DH; he drew a walk from Kalson Dulei of Palau his first time up. He hit .217/.308/.217 with three runs and three RBI in seven games entering the Gold Medal Game and had five putouts without an error. In the Gold Medal Game, he hit 7th and was at DH. Down 2-0 in the third, he started the comeback that led to the win; he singled off Guam's Freddy Cepeda Jr. and later came around on a Jesus Iguel hit.
