Utah Tech University was known as Dixie Junior College until 1970, Dixie College until 2000, Dixie State College of Utah until 2013, and Dixie State University until July 2022. Dixie State was the JUCO National Champ in 2004. In 2007, DSC began competing against four year colleges.
