Biographical Information[edit]

Bobby Rinard played as an outfielder in the minor leagues from 2011 to 2013. He was drafted by the New York Mets in the 43rd round of the 2009 amateur draft, out of Yavapai College, but did not sign. He was at the University of Arizona in 2010 and 2011, hitting .443 in 35 games in 2011, before signing with the New York Yankees as an undrafted free agent. He then played 44 games for the Staten Island Yankees of the New York-Penn League, batting .208/.278/.292 that same summer. In other two pro seasons were in the independent leagues, with the Normal CornBelters of the Frontier League in 2012 and the Edinburg Roadrunners of the United Baseball League in 2013. He was an outfielder.

He became an undergraduate assistant coach at Arizona in 2014, then became assistant coach at Dixie State University in 2015. Rinard was named associate head coach & recruiting coordinator for Utah Tech University (formerly Dixie State) in 2024.
