Biographical Information[edit]
Tim Chambers was a high school and college coach from 1991 to 2015, all in Las Vegas, NV.
Chambers earned all-conference honors at three different schools, including being named All-American at Dixie College in 1984.
Chambers began his career as a coach at Bishop Gorman High School from 1991 to 1999. Bishop Gorman won six consecutive Sunset Division championships (1992-97) and was the state runner-up in 1997.
Chambers then became the first head coach at College of Southern Nevada, staying from 2000 to 2010. He led the school the the NJCAA Division I Baseball World Series twice, winning the title in 2003 and finishing 3rd in 2010. He was named Scenic West Athletic Conference Coach of the Year four times.[1] He moved to University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2011, taking the school to the Mountain West Conference tournament all five years and finishing 3rd in the 2014 Corvallis Regional. His time at UNLV ended unfortunately as he was fired after an incident of driving under the influence.[2]
