Biographical Information[edit]
Carson Phillips was a relief pitcher at the schools noted above and graduated from Utah Tech University in 2022 with a degree in kinesiology and exercise science (the school was known as Dixie State University until that year). He went on to graduate school at the University of Arizona where he also worked as a graduate assistant coach. His LinkedIn page describes his responsibilities as "specializing in pitch design and development".
The Toronto Blue Jays lured Phillips away from his graduate studies to serve as a bullpen coach for the Buffalo Bisons in 2023 and Vancouver Canadians in 2024.
