He was on Hungary's squad for the 2023 European Championship, their first European Championship. In their debut, he replaced Cesar Chacin at third base late against Italy. He was their lone effective hurler in a 22-3 loss to Great Britain the next day. Relieving Carlos Rubio in the 4th, he retired Anthony Buonaiuto and Jacob Lambdin, hit Nateshon Thomas and got Shamoy Christopher on a grounder. The game ended after 4 1/2 due to the mercy rule. His first at-bat came as a pinch-hitter for Máté Belle against Sweden. He struck out facing Oskar Syrén. His other game at third base was a start versus Greece. He singled off indy league veteran Jonathan Kountis to drive in Bálint Piros and flew out before Zsolt Győri replaced him. He also made one more mound appearance, in the 15th/16th place game against Austria. Relieving Martin Morua with a 13-5 deficit in the 8th, he plunked Justin Fürböck and Dominik Talir. Eoghan McGarry flew out but he walked Philipp Eckel and Sammy Hackl hit a two-run single to end it with the mercy rule. He tied for 6th in the event in hit batsmen. [1]
