Biographical Information[edit]

Jake Lambdin has been on the Great Britain national team.

He hit .250/.412/.417 with 7 runs in the 2023 U23 European Championship, tying for the most runs. [1] In the 2023 European Championship, he was Britain's youngest player by over a year after Harry Ford. He debuted in their opener against Sweden, replacing Aaron Singh at second base and striking out facing Oskar Syrén. His first hit was off Jeff Barto of the Czech national team. After going 1-for-3 in Britain's loss to Spain in the title game (matching their best finish ever), he had hit .250/.333/.250 with 3 runs and 3 RBI in 5 games on offense, handling 16 chances error-free as a utility infielder. He also made one mound appearance, versus Italy. With a 10-8 lead to preserve, he took over for Chris Messer in the 8th. He struck out Andrea Sellaroli, walked former major leaguer Robel García, fanned Federico Celli and got Alberto Mineo on a fly. Demoi Hodge closed it out. [2]

As a college freshman in 2024, he was 2-0 with 3 saves and a 3.43 ERA, striking out 26 in 21 innings, while hitting .193/.324/.263.
