Biographical Information

César Chacin' has been on the Hungarian national team.

Originally from Venezuela, he moved to Hungary. He was with the Hungarian team for the 2023 European Championship, their first European Championship. He was their first batter ever, hitting leadoff and playing third in their opener against Italy. He flew out against Matteo Bocchi his first time up. He then got Hungary's first hit with a 4th-inning bunt single and scored their first run when Graeham Luttor doubled him in. He finished the Euros at .357/.400/.429 with four runs in four games, fielding .750 as a 2B/3B/CF. He tied Ádám Domsicz and Bálint Piros for second on the team in runs, five back of Luttor.
