1999 European Cup

The 1999 European Cup was held from June 15 through June 19, 1999 in Nettuno, Italy.

CUS Cariparma of Italy's Serie A1 won their second straight European title and 13th all time. Daniel Newman was named the Best Hitter.

Caffe Danesi Nettuno of Italy was 3-2 to finish second, losing the title game 6-0.

Mr. Cocker HCAW of the Dutch Hoofdklasse finished third at 3-2. Mike Duursma was named Most Outstanding Defensive Player while Jeffrey Cranston led in runs scored.

Viladecans of Spain's Division Honor went 2-3 and finished fourth. Félix Cano won MVP honors despite his team's middle-of-the-pack finish.

Draci Brno of the Czech Extraliga was 5th despite a 4-1 record due to the seeding rankings following the round-robin phase. Their one loss was a 17-3 rout by #3 HCAW, but they beat #2 Nettuno in extra innings. Pavel Budský led the event in ERA.

T&A San Marino of Serie A1 had a 2-3 record and finished sixth.

The Lions de Savigny-sur-Orge of France's Division Élite were 7th at 1-4.

The Tigers Schwaz of the Austrian Baseball League finished last at 0-5, getting outscored 59-5. They were the first team from Austria to play in a European Cup.
