1978 European Cup
The 1978 European Cup was held in the Italian cities of Parma and Bologna. Italian clubs finished first and second as Germal Parma defended their 1977 title and Derbigum Rimini placed second. Spain's Catalunya was third, followed by Germany's Mannheim Tornados, Sweden's Bagarmossen BSK and France's Paris Université Club. No Dutch clubs participated this year.
