1976 European Cup
The 1976 European Cup was held in Madrid, Spain. Italian club Derbigum Rimini won their first European Cup as they easily beat Belgian team Luchtbal in the final; no Belgian team had ever won the event and no team since then (as of 2016) has finished second. No Dutch teams entered this year's competition.
