1980 European Cup
The 1980 European Cup was the 18th edition of the tournament. It took place in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, Netherlands. The format was a round robin with no championship game. A second-place pool B competition was held in Madrid, Spain.
Parmalat Parma (Italy) won the cup, the first of four straight titles for the club. The Amstel Tigers (Netherlands) were second, followed by Derbigum Rimini (Italy), Neptunus (Netherlands), the Leksand Lumberjacks (Sweden), the Nice Université Club (France) and Luchtbal (Belgium).
