1972-1973 Cuban National League
The 1972-1973 season was the twelfth season of Cuba's national baseball system.
Serie Nacional[edit]
The 12th Serie Nacional was won by Industriales – their fifth title and first in seven years – under manager Pedro Chávez. The team outpaced rival La Habana by three games and two-time defending champion Azucareros by five over the lengthened 78-game season.
Serranos right-hander Braudilio Vinent records 19 wins – nearly half of his team's 42 victories – a mark that will stand for nearly three decades. La Habana's Armando Capiró becomes the new home run king as he smacks 22 blasts in 74 games.
