Eusebio Cruz was an outfielder in the Cuban Serie Nacional for 13 seasons. While a fairly productive player, he never played for the Cuban national team.
Cruz hit two home runs to lead the Cuban All-Star Series in 1971. In 1972-1973, he hit .345 for Camagüey to win the batting title. He led the league with 17 doubles the next season. In 1975, he led the first Series Selectivas with 15 doubles for Camagüeyanos; he also tied Fernando Sánchez for the hit lead (66). In 13 seasons in Cuba, he batted .289/.397/.423. He fielded .970.
