1994-1995 Cuban National League

The 1994-1995 season was the thirty-fourth season of Cuba's national baseball system.

Serie Nacional

The 34th Serie Nacional was won by Villa Clara, managed by Pedro Jova, for its third straight title. The Naranjas are the first team since Industriales won four straight in the mid-sixties.

After Villa Clara wins Grupo C by 18½ games, they sweep Grupo D winner Holguín in the semifinals. The team then defeats Pinar del Río – who had also swept their semifinal opponent of La Habana – four games to two.

La Habana's José Ibar wins 14 games to lead the league while future big leaguer Rolando Arrojo goes 11 – 0 for the champions. Rey Isaac of Santiago de Cuba sets a new record for most consecutive games with a hit by going 37 games with a hit – breaking Lazaro Vargas's ten-year old record of 31.

On January 14, Villa Clara sets numerous records for a team against Las Tunas. The champions score 38 runs on 37 hits and 37 runs batted in. Out of the 37 hits, 24 of the which were for extra bases, with 15 doubles. Both Eddy Rojas and Amado Zamora tie a record by scoring six times, while Rojas ties a nine-inning record with 6 hits. Not to go quietly Las Tunas scores 15 runs, has 24 hits, with 8 extra base hits, of which 5 were doubles. The total number of runs scored, 53; hits, 61; extra base hits, 32; and doubles, 20 set National League records.

The Most Valuable Player (Jugadores más Valiosos) was Amado Zamora a outfielder with Villa Clara. The Most Valuable Pitcher (Lanzadores más Valiosos) was José Ibar of La Habana. Larry Rodríguez of La Habana was the Series' Rookie of the Year (Novatos del Año).
