1957 Central League Most Valuable Player Award
The 1957 Central League Most Valuable Player Award award went easily to Yomiuri Giants outfielder Wally Yonamine, who led the league with a .343 average and led in total bases (230). Yonamine was the first American to win a MVP in Japan after World War II.
