Wally Yonamine: The Man Who Changed Japanese Baseball
Wally Yonamine: The Man Who Changed Japanese Baseball was published in 2008. Written by Rob Fitts with an intro by Senator Daniel Inouye (D-HI), the book chronicles the life of Wally Yonamine. Yonamine was the first Japanese American to play for a future NFL franchise, the first American player to play in Nippon Pro Baseball after World War II and was the first American to manage a Japan Series champion. Fitts spent three years researching the book.
