1975-1976 Cuban National League

The 1975-1976 season was the fifteenth season of Cuba's national baseball system.
Serie Nacional[edit]
The 15th Serie Nacional was won by Ganaderos representing Camagüey. The Carlos Gómez-led team won the title by five and a half games over Metropolitanos. The season length remains at 39 games.
Ganaderos' Omar Carrero leads the league with a 8 – 0 record, with Lázaro Santana of Granjeros also winning eight games. Carrero also records a 0.46 ERA, 4 earned runs in 78 innings and five shutouts. Six years after his last batting title, Wilfredo Sánchez – now with Citricultores – hits .365 to lead the league. Antonio Muñoz hits 13 home runs for the Azucareros.
Braudilio Vinent pitching for the Serranos wins his 100th game against Industriales at Estadio Latinoamericano on May 15. Vinent is the first pitcher to top 100 wins in Serie Nacional competition.

The Most Valuable Player (Jugadores más Valiosos) was Omar Carrero a pitcher with Ganaderos. The Most Valuable Pitcher (Lanzadores más Valiosos) was Omar Carrero of Ganaderos. Eladio Iglesias of Metropolitanos was the Series' Rookie of the Year (Novatos del Año).
