Virginia Credit Union Stadium in Fredericksburg, VA, is the home of the Fredericksburg Nationals, the Washington Nationals' Low-A Carolina League farm team. It was the big Nats' 2020-2021 Coronavirus pandemic alternate training site.

Opened in 2021 as FredNats Ballpark, its name officially changed with the March 6, 2022, announcement that the Virginia-based credit union had become the club's largest financial partner by buying ballpark naming rights.[1]

The city of Fredericksburg broke ground February 24, 2019, so the Potomac Nationals could move from Woodbridge, VA. Despite early hiccups and a contractual deadline that was nearly a year later, their new ballpark was ready for its 2020 debut - but the Coronavirus pandemic wiped out that season. It features a manual scoreboard, one of eight in the minors, that is situated so fans in the seats under it can post the numbers. The December 1, 2018, Founders Day kickoff drew nearly 200 fans braving a rainy forecast to buy season ticket pledges, and more than 1,200 three-year season tickets were sold before the groundbreaking.

Virginia Credit Union Stadium's stated capacity is 5,000, a figure it topped in one-game attendance for the first time September 17, 2021, when it reported 5,196 - then made it a pair of 5k's by drawing 5,019 the next day. The FredNats sold out nearly two-thirds of their 2021 home dates - 37 of 57.

However, the higher 5k didn't stand as the house record. On May 24, 2022, a rehab start by superstar pitcher Stephen Strasburg drew an astounding 5,802.
