Arthur W. Perdue Stadium in Salisbury, MD, is the home of the Delmarva Shorebirds, the Baltimore Orioles' Low-A Carolina League farm team. Named for the founder of Salisbury-headquartered Perdue Farms, it opened in 1996.

Arthur's son, Frank, threw out the ceremonial first pitch at its 1996 debut. He earned that honor and the right to name the ballpark for his father by being the driving force in getting his hometown an affiliated team plus donating the land and half of its construction costs to build the ballpark. He had succeeded his father as head of the company, but the game he played into college was a true avocation.

MLB's 2021 Minor League Reorganization greatly expanded existing standards for stadiums hosting affiliated teams. The state later folded upgrades for minor-league parks into a billion-dollar measure that will also improve the homes of the Orioles and the NFL's Baltimore Ravens. The owners of the stadiums where the Shorebirds, as well as the Bowie Baysox and Aberdeen Ironbirds, are seeking shares of that money to bring their ballparks up to grade.

The ballpark joined the 360-degree concourse trend in 2019. The Maryland Eastern Shore Baseball Hall of Fame is next door. Not as large as the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center, "The Perdue" long landed many events that would otherwise have gone there because a deed restriction was incorrectly thought to prohibit alcohol sales at the WYCC.
