Low-A East

From BR Bullpen

The Low-A East was established in 2021 as part of the reorganization of Minor League Baseball into the Professional Development League. It was one of three Low-A sections of the League, the others being the Low-A Southeast and the Low-A West. It was largely made up of former teams of the Carolina League and of the South Atlantic League, which both played their last season in 2019. In 2022, it was rebranded as the Carolina League.
