Biographical Information

Sílvio Figueiredo debuted for the Brazilian national team in the 2022 South American Championship. In his first game, he relieved Douglas Takano in the 5th with a 9-1 lead over host Peru. He allowed four straight singles - to Johan Verastegui, Joaquin Velez, Daniel Liu and Giancarlo Kanashiro - then plunked Susumu Yoza. It was now 9-3 and Kawan de Araújo took over, but all the inherited runners scored to give Silvio 5 runs (3 earned) in 0 innings.
