Québec, also known as Quebec City in English, is one of the oldest cities and the only walled city in North America (excluding Mexico). The provincial capital of Quebec, it was founded by Samuel de Champlain in 1608 and is located on the Saint Lawrence River, 150 miles north-east of Montreal, QC.
