Collège Saint-Charles-Garnier

From BR Bullpen

The Collège Saint-Charles-Garnier is located in Quebec, QC where it traces back its history to 1634 when it was founded as the Collège des Jésuites de Québec as the first high school of any kind in North America. It was closed from 1776 to 1930 after a decision of the British Governor of Canada, and reopened as a preparatory school affiliated with the Université Laval. It received its current name in 1981, in honor of one of the Jesuit martyrs of New France.
