Biographical Information[edit]
Warren Coopman has pitched for the French national team.
Coopman was 1-0 with a 2.45 ERA for France in the 2009 European Junior Championship despite 6 walks in 7 1/3 IP. He got the win over Belgium. In the 2010 Division Elite, he played for the Montigny Cougars, hitting .186/.314/.256 in a utility role and going 1-0 with a 3.86 ERA and 15 BB in 18 2/3 IP. In the 2010 World Junior Championship, he was France's top contact hitter at .318/.375/.364 in 7 games, though he fielded only .773 with 5 errors. He pitched two games, allowing 3 unearned runs in 6 2/3 IP. He got the win over the Czech Republic in relief.
Coopman was on the roster for France in the 2013 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers but did not get into a game.
