Northern League (Summer Collegiate)

From BR Bullpen

The second Vermont Northern League was a collegiate league that ran from 1936 to 1941, 1946 to 1950 with one final season in 1952. In the inaugural season, the league was comprised of mainly New York teams. These teams tended to be located in the resort towns of the Adirondacks. By 1940, most of the teams were located in Vermont, and it remained that way through 1950. During the brief reincarnation in 1952, teams were spread between New York and Vermont, with one team in Quebec.
