She debuted in 2018, going 1-for-8 with a double for Reia in the Japan Women's Baseball League. [1] She batted .303/.354/.393 for Kyoto Flora in 2019 and .277/.362/.344 Aichi Dione in '20 before going to college to become a teacher. [2]

Shiraishi debuted for Japan in the 2023 Women's Baseball Asian Cup. As a backup to Iori Miura in center field, she was 3-for-6 with a double, triple, two runs, two steals and five RBI for the champs. [3] In the 2023-2024 Women's Baseball World Cup's 2023 Pool B, she was 2-for-6 with a walk, two runs and a RBI, again backing up Miura. [4] Japan moved on to the finals in 2024, where she became the starter in left. She was 3-for-3 with 3 runs and 3 RBI against Venezuela, had three more runs versus Mexico and doubled in two of their three runs in their loss to the USA before they beat the US in the title game. She hit .563/.611/.813 with four doubles, eight runs and eight RBI in six games in the final round and had five putouts in the field. She tied Alex Hugo for third in runs, tied for first in hits (with Sena Catterall, Miwa Naraoka, Mia Valcke and Yi-Hsuan Chiu), was second in two-baggers (one shy of Andréanne Leblanc), was second in RBI (one behind Leblanc), tied Leblanc for the most total bases, tied Chiu for the top average, was third in OBP (after Nanako Hanabusa and Catterall), led in slugging (.044 ahead of Hugo) and led in OPS (82 ahead of Hugo). She joined Naraoka and Catterall as the All-World outfielders and won the MVP. It was the 7th time in a row Japan won the Cup and had the MVP; she followed three-time winner Ayami Sato, Yukari Isozaki, Ayako Rokkaku and Kasumi Noguchi. She was the first position player to win the MVP since Rokkaku in 2010 and the first outfielder ever. [5]
