Dixie League

From BR Bullpen

A class D Dixie League played ball in 1916 and 1917. The league disbanded on July 4.

Another such league was attempted again in 1933. The Waco franchise moved to Pine Bluff on June 27 and folded two months later on August 22. The league was split in half in 1934, forming an East Dixie League and a West Dixie League. Neither lasted more than a couple years.
