Cleveland State University was established when it acquired Fenn College in 1965, which was a private school founded by the YMCA in 1909. The school has sponsored baseball in 1932-1935 and 1947-2011 (including the Fenn College history). The school cut its baseball program due to budget cuts in 2011 [1].
