Biographical Information[edit]

Drew Saylor was named the 2018 Minor League Manager of the Year by Baseball America for his work as skipper of the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes of the California League. A few years earlier, he had been thinking of quitting baseball and had even started a "real" job as a management trainee for a car rental company in his hometown of Parma, OH at his wife's urging when he received a call to coach in the professional ranks late in 2011.
