Biographical Information[edit]

Relief pitcher Kris Hall was taken by the Oakland Athletics in the 8th round of the 2012 amateur draft. The scout was Matt Ranson.

He started his professional career that year, posting a 3-0 record and 1.23 ERA in 29 1/3 innings for the AZL Athletics and Vermont Lake Monsters. Over the next three seasons, he averaged more than a strikeout per inning, peaking at 12.2 strikeouts per 9 innings pitched for the Stockton Ports in 2014. In 2015, he earned a spot in the Arizona Fall League, posting a 6.75 mark in ten games for the Mesa Solar Sox. He also reached Triple A for the first time that year, playing one game for the Nashville Sounds.
