Biographical Information

Jay Murphy was head coach of George Washington University (1992-1996) and Cleveland State University (1997-2006, winning 184 games there). He was Horizon League Coach of the Year in 2004. He was assistant coach at John Carroll University from 2007-2012. He was also an assistant coach for the softball team at University of Akron [1] in 2013. He was head coach at Forsyth Country Day School (2014-?) [2] and Andrews Osborne Academy in 2017-2018.

Murphy also coached at Ballston Spa High School, Skidmore College (1982-1984), Kent State University (1985-1987), and Schenectady County Community College.
