Biographical Information[edit]

Alexander Cheuk-Hei Chan pitched for the Hong Kong national team.

Chan represented Hong Kong in the 2022 Asian Games (which were held in 2023 after delays). He relieved Chun-Pui Mok in the 7th inning against South Korea, and he retired Hyung-jun Kim to end this inning. Chan then retired Seong-yoon Kim, but he gave a double to Hye-seong Kim and two straight singles to Ji-hoon Choi and Si-hwan Roh; Ching Connor Kwok succeeded him. He also relieved Mok against Chinese Taipei, in the 5th inning, and he gave up a single to I-Wei Lee. Hao-Wei Shen flew out, but Chan then walked Min-Shih Chen, and Pei-Feng Dai reached due to Hon-Man Ashley Ma's error. Lai-Him Lam replaced him after he walked Tsung-Che Cheng. His last appearance was against Laos, and he retired Payia Wa in the 7th inning to end this game. [1]

In the 2023 Asian Championship, he debuted against South Korea, and he pitched 1 2/3 innings with a run allowed. He then relieved Mok against Chinese Taipei, but he walked Chien-Fu Liao and Sheng-Ping Chen while allowing singles to Ji-Hong Liu and Cheng-Jui Sung. Yui-Fong Wong replaced him, but he surrendered a RBI single to Yu-Wei Kao and the game ended. [2]
