Biographical Information[edit]
Yu-Wei Kao has played for the Taiwanese national team.
Kao represented Taiwan in the 2019 World Port Tournament, hitting .182/.240/.227. [1] He made it onto Taiwan's roster for the 2023 Asian Championship.[2] He replaced Ching-Kai Lin at second base against Palestine, and went 1-for-3 with a single against Ahmad Ghouleh in the 4th inning. He then pinch-hit for Lin in the 5th inning versus Hong Kong, recorded a RBI single against Yui-Fong Wong to end this game as Taiwan's lead reached 15 runs. He didn't have another at-bat in the rest of the event, and Taiwan won Silver. [3]
