Biographical Information[edit]

Payia Wa was 0 for 2 for Laos in the 2023 East Asian Baseball Cup. [1] In the 2022 Asian Games (held in 2023 due to delays from COVID-19 restrictions), he backed up Soulapixa Khounchaleun at catcher. He struck out against Ryota Wong of Singapore his first at-bat and finished 0-for-4, handling seven chances error-free and throwing out one of two would-be base thieves when he gunned down Phoomwut Wutthikorn.
