Biographical Information[edit]
Phoomwut Wutthikorn has been on the Thai national team.
Wutthikorn was with Thailand for the 2014 Asian Games but did not get into a game. [1] In the 2018 East Asian Baseball Cup, he hit .286/.375/.357 with 5 RBI in 4 games, second on the team in RBI behind Jack Daru. [2] In the 2018 Asian Games, he was 2 for 6 with two walks, two steals and two RBI in the preliminary round; only Sakai Phraechai had more steals in the round. He had one error in six chances. In the main round, he was 1 for 11 with 3 walks, 2 steals and 3 runs. Only Naruephol Muangkasem and Ho-Yin Liu had lower averages or slugging percentages among regulars. He fielded .769 at short, leading all shortstops with three errors. His only hit was off Nanda Dwi Saputra. [3]
He won Silver with Thailand in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games. [4]
