Biographical Information

'Phoomwut Wutthikorn has been on the Thai national team.

Wutthikorn was with Thailand for the 2014 Asian Games but did not get into a game. In the 2018 East Asian Baseball Cup, he hit .286/.375/.357 with 5 RBI in 4 games, second on the team in RBI behind Jack Daru. In the 2018 Asian Games, he was 2 for 6 with two walks, two steals and two RBI in the preliminary round; only Sakai Phraechai had more steals in the round. He had one error in six chances. In the main round, he was 1 for 11 with 3 walks, 2 steals and 3 runs. Only Naruephol Muangkasem and Ho-Yin Liu had lower averages or slugging percentages among regulars. He fielded .769 at short, leading all shortstops with three errors. His only hit was off Nanda Dwi Saputra.

He won Silver with Thailand in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games.
