Lions 2B Hatsuhiko Tsuji makes a major defensive stop with the bases loaded, then made a leaping, off-balance throw to catcher Tsutomu Itoh to get Katsumi Hirosawa at the plate. In the 10th, Tsuji (held without a run or RBI through the first six games) doubled, took third on an out then scored on a sacrifice fly by Koji Akiyama to win it.
