1975 AL Championship Series (3-0): Boston Red Sox (95-65) over Oakland Athletics (98-64)
Introduction[edit]
The Boston Red Sox swept the Oakland Athletics to capture the 1975 American League Championship Series. The Red Sox went on to lose to the Cincinnati Reds in the 1975 World Series, which is considered by many to be one of the greatest Series of all time.
