The 1960 European Championship was held from September 22 through September 25, 1960 in Barcelona, Spain. Barcelona became the first city to host two European Championships, having also done so in 1955.

Flag of Netherlands Netherlands swept their way to a Gold, but it was not as easy as some other years as they edged Italy 1-0.

Flag of Italy Italy took home Silver at 2-1.

Flag of Spain Spain won Bronze at 1-2. The hosts honored Dwight Eisenhower, who was named honorary president of the Spanish baseball federation.

Flag of Germany Germany finished last at 0-3.
