The 1921 International League season marked the high point of the Baltimore dynasty as they had the third of seven straight titles, setting a new minor league record for team wins in the process; only the 1934 Los Angeles Angels would win more games. Amazingly, Baltimore actually had a lower winning percentage (by .002) than in 1920. They won the league by 20 games. That second-place club was George Stallings' Rochester team, making a bigger turnaround than his Miracle Braves had, going from 45 wins in 1920 to 100 in 1921. The IL had one minor franchise shift, as Akron returned to their 1919 home of Newark.
