When Mayabeque did not make the second half, he reinforced Cienfuegos and hit .353/.437/.474 for them to finish the year at .346/.451/.543 with more walks (51) than whiffs (47). He tied for 7th in homers (12), was 6th with 152 total bases, tied César Prieto and Santiago Torres for 5th in walks, ranked 10th in average, was 6th in slugging, placed 4th in OBP and was 5th in OPS (between Edilse Silva and Yasiel Santoya). [1] He joined Frederich Cepeda and Yusniel Ibáñez as the offensive All-Stars. [2]

Cuba debuted the Cuban Elite League in early 2022 and he hit .308/.376/.346 for the Portuarios de Industriales & Mayabeque. He hit .305/.418/.471 for Mayabeque in the 2022-2023 Serie Nacional. He represented Cuba in three events during 2023. In the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games opener, he pinch-hit for Avilés and was retired by Mexico's Samuel Zazueta. He started at first the rest of the tourney and got his first hit off Jordan Lucas of Curaçao.
