Team History[edit]

The West Virginia Power are a Pittsburgh Pirates affiliate in the South Atlantic League. They play their home games at Appalachian Power Park in Charleston, West Virginia. They were previously called the Charleston Alley Cats.

The Power lost their affiliation in the minor league re-structuring after the cancelled 2020 season but found a new home in the Atlantic League. However, during the 2021 season, they changed names, becoming the Charleston Dirty Birds.
