Biographical Information[edit]

Catcher Wyatt Toregas was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 24th round of the 2004 amateur draft. He was signed by scout Bob Mayer and made his pro debut that summer.

Toregas made his major league debut with the Cleveland Indians on August 1, 2009, one day after regular catcher Victor Martinez was traded to the Boston Red Sox. He went 1 for 5 with an RBI in his debut againt the Detroit Tigers.

Toregas was a coach for the Indianapolis Indians in 2012 [1] and became a manager with the West Virginia Black Bears in 2015.
