The Texas-Southern League was an eight team league in 1895-1896. This would be the only years that the league would operate.

# Austin, Houston, San Antonio and Shreveport disbanded August 6.
Playoff:Ft. Worth led Dallas 7 games to 6 in a 15 game playoff when a dispute arose that ended the series. Ft. Worth was declared champion several months later.
