Biographical Information

Alex McFarlan played in 10 different minor leagues from 1887-1897, coming to the majors briefly in 1892 (as well as appearing with two teams in the Texas League that same year).

He was a minor league manager in the 1890s, as well as for Lafayette of the Illinois-Indiana League in 1889.

He was the brother of Dan McFarlan and of Horace McFarlan.
