Chirinos signed initially with the Texas Rangers. He hit .211/.303/.296 for the 2017 DSL Rangers 2, stealing 9 bases in 12 tries, while playing all four infield positions. He improved his offense with the '18 DSL Rangers 1, batting .318/.431/.397 with 49 walks to 20 whiffs, 47 runs, 42 RBI and 13 steals (caught 4 times) in 69 contests while fielding .964 at third base. His time in the Rangers chain over, he played for Venezuela in the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games. Starting at short and leading off in their opener against Puerto Rico, he grounded out against Luis Cruz. His first hit was a single off the Dominican national team's Ismael Cabrera, scoring Yoandy Rea. While he was a regular at short going into the Bronze Medal Game, Derwin Barreto got the nod in that contest; Chirinos came off the bench as a pinch-runner for Alex Monsalve and stayed in at second as his team got the Bronze. He was 7-for-17 with a walk, run and two RBI, while handling 26 chances error-free. He tied for 10th in hits, tied Melvin Deras and Junnell Ledezma for 3rd in assists (15, behind Barreto and Adrian Valerio) and tied Rea for second in double plays turned (6, one behind Roderick Bernadina).
