Biographical Information[edit]
Doug Minnis was head baseball coach at Bishop Ward High School (1956-1968) and Missouri Western State University (1970-1999). The founder of the Missouri Western program, he won 683 games there and took the team to the 1975 NAIA College World Series.
Minnis also spent time as a scout for Cardinals' Brewers, Phillies, and Twins [1].
