Biographical Information[edit]
Chindy Patria Yudharana was on the Indonesian national team in the 2001 Asian Baseball Cup and 2003 Asian Championship. He hurt his shoulder in 2004 and missed some time, then he was on Indonesia when they won Bronze in the 2005 Southeast Asian Games and again in the 2007 Southeast Asian Games. In the 2015 Asian Championship, he played 3B, CF, DH and P. He was 3 for 7 with a RBI, driving in Adi Susanto against China; it was one of only three runs for Indonesia in the five games. He got a start against Taiwan, working 2 1/3 innings and allowing four hits, six walks, two hit batsmen and 8 runs in 6 innings. His 23.14 ERA was not far from the team ERA of 18.30. He tied Rizki Ramadhan and Andospa Aldo Saputra for the team lead in hits and led the team in average.
When Indonesia hosted the 2018 Asian Games, the 36-year-old pitched for them in three games. He took the decision in a 7-4 loss to Hong Kong, relieving Gunawan Pandu Khallista. He allowed two walks and one unearned run in 2/3 of an inning then Hadi Nur Muhammad relieved him. He started against Taiwan and was hit hard (1/3 IP, 4 H, 6 R, 6 ER, 3 BB) before Andika Arlistianto came in. He came up big in a historic game, though, when Indonesia got its first win in baseball in Asian Games history. Against Thailand, he replaced Lukman Kurnia Ramdhoni in the 8th with two outs, the bases loaded and a 12-10 lead. He walked Naruephol Muangkasem to force in a run but struck out Nirawit Bunnam to escape the jam. In the 9th, the veteran retired Siraphop Nadee, got Phoomwut Wutthikorn on a comebacker then retired Suratit Faengsup to save the historic win for Arlistianto.
